Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Los Angeles for a friend's wedding, which was especially exciting since so many of our favorite brands originate there. LA has many diverse neighborhoods, and the topography of California is incredibly beautiful, so while I didn't have much time for sightseeing due to wedding festivities, I did make time for a couple pilgrimages--mainly for food and shopping, duh...
The wedding itself was held at the ocean front Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, which was absolutely gorge and suited my discerning tastes ;)
Plus it had some majorly rad cacti, some as big as trees!
I pretty much chilled by the freakin awesome pools (adult pool--yes please, my spawn weren't with us) in my Magnolia duds and mugged for dumb selfies...
Our first day trip was to an ameeezing boutique in Long Beach, where my husband got really annoyed because I had to go through each rack like three times--sorry boo!
After the wedding we headed up the coast to Venice and hit up Abbott-Kinney, which GQ Magazine recently named the "coolest street in the US". It was definitely worth the trip, and after stuffing ourselves with pretzel burgers at the 3 Square Cafe, we shopped our faces off (well, I did--sorry again Tom!)
Amongst countless gorgeous shops was literally the most beautiful mattress store ever (!?)
Some really amazing wallpaper...
And cool-ass street art.
Next up was the original Venice Beach strip, which was completely bananas since it was fourth of July weekend.
I'm not gonna lie--I kinda felt like I needed a doctor's appointment ;)
Overall it was a brief but awesome visit, and I feel like we are bringing a little bit of Cali vibes to y'all at Magnolia Supply.
