Last night I saw Old Crow Medicine Show at the St. Augustine Amphitheater. There's a new trend among bluegrass lovin' young folks...I call it "Hipster Hillbillies".
We'll start with the fact that the chandeliers and all the lights strung in the background were made from Mason jars. It's so hipster it hurts. Regardless of how trendy it was, these guys really kicked some banjo-rockin' ass. We did some dance fighting and my calves are feelin' it today. The band wore vintage Western shirts with modern cut jeans. My hubby wore a similar setup while I rocked my One Teaspoon Bandits, vintage bolo, and Matisse Exotic Gladiator sandals from Magnolia Supply.
I spotted some manly head scarves...complete with pom-pom trim.
LOTS of men in overalls. I can get on board with this shirtless look.
A few Magnolia Babes were spotted... Laura was wearing our Mink Pink Romper and Monica scored these vintage sunglasses from the shop.
Super fun night and some excellent crowd watching. This guy doesn't even know how cool he is with his 1993 music festival tee, neck scarf and rustic cowboy hat. Well played sir.
Happy Sunday Funday! Here's to banjos and beer! XOXO
